A typeface forged in the north of England for the largest people-powered letterpress printing press in the world. Graft is a new condensed typeface from Split. Designed as a display face for the giant People Powered Press — recognised by Guinness World Records as the largest of its kind in the world — it has been expanded for digital release in four weights and with an extensive character set. Proceeds from all sales of the font will be used to support the People Powered Press and its work. Unusually, Cloudbuster has a printed-look softness, courtesy of very slightly rounded corners throughout, so it looks a little less harsh than similar typefaces. The font is an imposing display face with elegant, unfussy letterforms and a generous x-height. Download Cloudbuster Font Family From K-Type Download Now View Gallery

Look closer at the lowercase g and a, especially in the italic, and you can see some unexpected elements of subversiveness within the design.  This blend of sturdiness and quirkiness means it’s just as relevant for information-heavy projects, such as annual reports, as it is in more expressive environments. Although first and foremost designed for text, Kaytek Sans’ details shine through in its heavier weights and larger sizes, meaning it also has display potential.  Every style of the typeface takes up exactly the same amount of space, thanks to the way Radek Łuka...
